How long does it take to generate a portrait?
Most portraits are ready in 20-40 seconds! Our AI analyzes your pet's unique features and applies your chosen style incredibly fast. Complex styles may take up to 60 seconds.
What photo quality do I need?
Phone photos work perfectly! Just ensure: good lighting (natural light is best), your pet's face is clearly visible, and the image isn't blurry. Our AI will analyze photo quality and give you tips before generating.
How many portraits can I create?
It depends on your credits! You get 2 free credits when you sign up. Each portrait costs 1 credit. Purchase credit packs anytime - they never expire. Check our Pricing page for available packs.
What file format will I receive?
You'll receive high-resolution PNG images perfect for printing, sharing on social media, or creating custom merchandise like mugs, pillows, and phone cases.
Can I choose specific art styles?
Yes. Choose from the styles currently available in the portrait generator and compare examples in the Gallery. AI-generated details can differ from the source photo, so review the result before downloading or ordering a print.
What if I'm not satisfied with the result?
We've got you covered! If you're not happy, we'll refund your credit immediately - no questions asked. You can then try a different style or adjust your photo. We also offer free regeneration for technical issues.
Why did my AI pet portrait fail or get blocked?
Sometimes a safety check stops a generation when the upload or the result looks sensitive. That is different from a portrait that finishes but you simply don't like the look. Try again with a clear, well-lit photo of your pet's face and as little else in the frame as you can. Phone photos are fine. What should I do after a failed generation?
1) Upload a different face-forward pet photo. 2) Run another try from the homepage: https://pixpawai.com/en/. 3) If a credit looks missing after a failed run, check your dashboard balance or email support@pixpawai.com — we'll help you sort it out. If the job finished but you're unhappy with the style, use the satisfaction options already described in this FAQ (credit help / try another style). A safety block is a stop before a finished portrait.
Where can I view all my created portraits?
Visit your Dashboard to see all your creations! You can download them anytime, share to our public gallery to earn a free credit, or create custom Art Cards for social media.
Can I edit or modify the generated portrait?
While you can't directly edit the AI output, you can regenerate with different styles or add custom prompts (like 'wearing a hat' or 'on the beach') to customize the scene while keeping your pet's features intact.
How can I improve the quality of my portrait?
Three key tips: (1) Upload a clear, well-lit photo showing your pet's face, (2) Choose a style that matches your pet's personality, (3) For complex features like heterochromia or unique patterns, our AI auto-detects and optimizes parameters for best accuracy.
Is my data safe and private?
We use security safeguards and share only the data needed with service providers that host data, analyze photos, screen prompts, generate portraits, fulfill orders, and process payments. You can delete your creations from your Dashboard. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I use portraits for commercial purposes?
Yes! All generated portraits are yours to use. You can print them on merchandise, use them for business, or share on social media.
